Description

Heaven in a Bowl is a creamy, indulgent dessert that combines velvety layers, delightful crunch, and sweet flavors, making it a perfect treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 (12 oz) container of whipped topping

1 (5 oz) package vanilla pudding mix

2 cups milk

1 cup mini marshmallows

1/2 cup toasted coconut (optional)

1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

1 cup crushed pineapple, drained

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and well-combined.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until it thickens (about 2 minutes).
  4. Gently fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture, ensuring everything is well incorporated.
  5. Add the mini marshmallows, crushed pineapple (drained), toasted coconut (if using), and chopped walnuts (if using). Stir to combine.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a serving dish and smooth the top. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together and the dessert to firm up.
  7. Garnish with additional coconut or walnuts before serving, if desired.

Notes

  1. For a chocolatey twist, add some mini chocolate chips or drizzle with chocolate syrup before serving.
  2. If you prefer a nut-free version, omit the walnuts and use a different topping, like extra marshmallows or fresh fruit.
  3. You can swap out the vanilla pudding mix for banana pudding mix to create a banana-flavored version.
  4. To add extra sweetness, drizzle caramel sauce over the top before serving.
  5. This dessert is best served chilled, so no reheating is necessary.
  6. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
