Description

A light and creamy banana dream cake made with yellow cake, banana pudding, whipped topping, and fresh banana slices — perfect for banana lovers!


Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 small boxes instant banana pudding (3.4 oz each)
  • 4 cups milk
  • 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
  • 3 bananas, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare the cake in a 9×13 inch pan according to the directions on the box.
  2. Bake the cake as instructed, then allow it to cool for about 5–10 minutes.
  3. Using the back of a spoon, poke several holes into the top of the cake.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the banana pudding mixes and milk until smooth and slightly thickened.
  5. Pour the pudding mixture evenly over the cake, making sure it fills the holes.
  6. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours, or until the pudding has set.
  7. Spread the thawed whipped topping over the cake evenly.
  8. Sprinkle the crushed vanilla wafers on top of the whipped topping.
  9. Arrange the banana slices over the top before serving.
  10. Serve chilled and refrigerate any leftovers.
