Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, parsley, chives, Parmesan cheese, and cheddar cheese.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, olive oil, and egg.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
