Description

This Herbed Honey Mustard Chicken is a flavorful and easy-to-make dish, combining sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce with aromatic herbs. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, honey, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the honey mustard herb mixture over them, coating each piece evenly.
  4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Optionally, broil the chicken for 2-3 minutes at the end for a caramelized finish.
  6. Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
