Description

Juicy skillet steak fajitas packed with bold spices and colorful peppers, perfect for a quick low-carb meal. This keto-friendly dish is flavorful, satisfying, and easy to prepare in one pan.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak or skirt steak, sliced thinly
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced steak and cook for 3–5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil, then sauté bell peppers and onion for 4–5 minutes until softened.
  4. Add minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Return the cooked steak to the skillet and toss with the vegetables.
  6. Drizzle lime juice over the mixture and stir to combine.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped cilantro if desired. Serve immediately.
