Description

A refreshing and sweet homemade peach lemonade with a perfect balance of tangy lemon and sweet peaches, ideal for hot summer days.


Ingredients

4 ripe peaches, peeled and pitted

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 6 lemons)

1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)

4 cups cold water

Ice cubes

Lemon slices and fresh mint for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Peel and pit the peaches. Place them in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. In a pitcher, combine the peach puree, lemon juice, and sugar. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.
  3. Add cold water to the mixture and stir until combined. Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  4. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the peach lemonade over the ice.
  5. Garnish with lemon slices and a sprig of fresh mint for a touch of elegance (optional).
  6. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

  1. You can use honey, agave syrup, or a sugar substitute to lower the sugar content.
  2. For a fizzy twist, add sparkling water or club soda.
