Description

Refreshing and naturally sweet, this homemade pineapple juice is a tropical delight made with fresh pineapples and a hint of ginger for a zesty twist. Perfect for hot days or as a healthy drink option.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium ripe pineapple, peeled and chopped
  • 12 cups water (adjust based on desired consistency)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, peeled and chopped (optional)
  • Sugar or honey to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the pineapple into small chunks.
  2. Place the pineapple chunks in a blender. Add ginger if using.
  3. Pour in 1 to 2 cups of water, depending on how thick you want the juice.
  4. Blend until smooth.
  5. Strain the mixture using a fine sieve or cheesecloth into a large bowl or jug to remove the pulp.
  6. Taste the juice and add sugar or honey if desired, then stir to combine.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator or serve over ice.

Notes

  • Use ripe pineapples for the best natural sweetness.
  • You can freeze leftover juice in ice cube trays for later use in smoothies or drinks.
  • Add mint leaves or lime juice for an extra refreshing twist.
  • Ginger is optional but adds a nice spicy kick.
