Ingredients
- 4 cod fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the cod fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the butter and minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Cook for 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Return the cod fillets to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to coat and heat through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
