Ingredients
- 2 cups pineapple, cut into chunks
- 2 cups watermelon, cut into chunks
- 2 cups strawberries, hulled
- 2 bananas, sliced thick
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Thread the pineapple, watermelon, strawberries, and bananas onto skewers, alternating fruits.
- In a small bowl, mix together honey, lime juice, and lime zest to make the glaze.
- Brush the fruit skewers with the honey-lime glaze.
- Grill skewers for about 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally until grill marks appear and fruit is slightly caramelized.
- Remove from grill and brush with any remaining glaze before serving.
Notes
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
- Use firm fruits that hold up well on the grill.
- Optional: sprinkle with fresh mint or a dash of chili powder for added flavor.
