Description

These Honey Lime Grilled Fruit Skewers are a sweet and tangy summer treat made with a mix of your favorite fruits, grilled to perfection and brushed with a honey-lime glaze. Perfect for BBQs or healthy desserts!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pineapple, cut into chunks
  • 2 cups watermelon, cut into chunks
  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled
  • 2 bananas, sliced thick
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  2. Thread the pineapple, watermelon, strawberries, and bananas onto skewers, alternating fruits.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together honey, lime juice, and lime zest to make the glaze.
  4. Brush the fruit skewers with the honey-lime glaze.
  5. Grill skewers for about 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally until grill marks appear and fruit is slightly caramelized.
  6. Remove from grill and brush with any remaining glaze before serving.

Notes

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
  • Use firm fruits that hold up well on the grill.
  • Optional: sprinkle with fresh mint or a dash of chili powder for added flavor.
