Ingredients
- 1 package (12 ounces) Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 1 package (14 ounces) bun-length hot dogs
- 6 slices American cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Without separating rolls, cut the entire package in half horizontally; place bottom halves in a greased 13×9-in. baking dish.
- Cut hot dogs in half lengthwise and then crosswise, creating 24 pieces. Place 2 pieces on each roll bottom.
- Top with cheese slices, chopped onion, and roll tops.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, mustard, dried minced onion, and poppy seeds. Brush over tops of sliders.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for 5-10 minutes longer or until tops are lightly browned.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Great for feeding a crowd—easy to scale up or down.
- Try different cheeses like cheddar or pepper jack for variety.
- Leftovers can be reheated in the oven to maintain crispness.
