Description

This Iced Mango Matcha Latte is a refreshing and vibrant drink that layers sweet mango puree with earthy matcha and creamy milk. It’s perfect for a hot day or a tropical-inspired pick-me-up.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen mango chunks
  • 1/4 cup water (for mango puree)
  • 12 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1/4 cup hot water (for matcha)
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine mango chunks and 1/4 cup water. Blend until smooth. Add honey or maple syrup if desired for added sweetness.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with 1/4 cup hot water until fully dissolved and frothy.
  3. Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the mango puree into the bottom of the glass.
  5. Slowly pour the milk over the mango puree to create layers.
  6. Finally, gently pour the prepared matcha over the milk to complete the layered drink.
  7. Stir before drinking if desired and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use canned mango pulp if fresh or frozen mango is not available.
  • Adjust the sweetness to your taste by adding more or less honey/maple syrup.
  • Use a matcha whisk for the best results when dissolving matcha powder.
