This Iced Mango Matcha Latte is a refreshing and vibrant drink that layers sweet mango puree with earthy matcha and creamy milk. It’s perfect for a hot day or a tropical-inspired pick-me-up.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh or frozen mango chunks
- 1/4 cup water (for mango puree)
- 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
- 1 teaspoon matcha powder
- 1/4 cup hot water (for matcha)
- 3/4 cup milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a blender, combine mango chunks and 1/4 cup water. Blend until smooth. Add honey or maple syrup if desired for added sweetness.
- In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with 1/4 cup hot water until fully dissolved and frothy.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the mango puree into the bottom of the glass.
- Slowly pour the milk over the mango puree to create layers.
- Finally, gently pour the prepared matcha over the milk to complete the layered drink.
- Stir before drinking if desired and enjoy!
Notes
- You can use canned mango pulp if fresh or frozen mango is not available.
- Adjust the sweetness to your taste by adding more or less honey/maple syrup.
- Use a matcha whisk for the best results when dissolving matcha powder.
- Almond, oat, or coconut milk pairs well for a dairy-free version.
