Description

This iced matcha latte is creamy, refreshing, and lightly sweetened with honey. It’s a quick café-style drink you can make at home in just a few minutes.

Ingredients

  • 12 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup oat milk

Instructions

  1. Add the matcha powder and warm water to a small bowl or cup and whisk until smooth and combined.
  2. Add the honey and vanilla extract, then whisk again until fully incorporated.
  3. If desired, froth the oat milk using a milk frother.
  4. Fill a tall glass with ice and pour in the milk, reserving any foam for topping.
  5. Pour the matcha mixture into the glass and stir gently to combine.
  6. Top with the remaining milk froth and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of matcha powder depending on how strong you like the flavor.
  • Maple syrup or agave can be used instead of honey for a vegan option.
  • Use any milk of choice such as almond, soy, or dairy milk.
  • Sift the matcha powder before whisking to help prevent clumps.
