Ingredients
- 1–2 teaspoons matcha powder
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/2 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 cup ice
- 1 cup oat milk
Instructions
- Add the matcha powder and warm water to a small bowl or cup and whisk until smooth and combined.
- Add the honey and vanilla extract, then whisk again until fully incorporated.
- If desired, froth the oat milk using a milk frother.
- Fill a tall glass with ice and pour in the milk, reserving any foam for topping.
- Pour the matcha mixture into the glass and stir gently to combine.
- Top with the remaining milk froth and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of matcha powder depending on how strong you like the flavor.
- Maple syrup or agave can be used instead of honey for a vegan option.
- Use any milk of choice such as almond, soy, or dairy milk.
- Sift the matcha powder before whisking to help prevent clumps.
