Ingredients
- Cooking spray
- 1 room temperature egg
Instructions
- Spray a mason jar with cooking spray and crack the egg into the jar.
- Place the rack inside the Instant Pot and pour in 1 cup of water.
- Set the mason jar on the rack, close the lid, and set the valve to sealing.
- Cook on manual pressure for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on desired doneness.
- Quick release the pressure when done.
- Carefully remove the jar using oven gloves and flip it upside down to release the poached egg.
Notes
- Use room temperature eggs for more even cooking.
- Cooking time varies: 3 minutes for softer yolk, 5 minutes for firmer yolk.
