Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/4 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground pork with all the spices and brown sugar.
- Mix thoroughly until the seasonings are evenly distributed.
- Form the mixture into small patties or leave loose for crumbles.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the sausage patties for 3–4 minutes per side until browned and fully cooked.
- Remove from heat and serve warm with your favorite breakfast sides.
