Description
Soft, cheesy homemade pizza rolls filled with classic pizza flavors, baked until golden and perfect for snacks, parties, or quick meals.
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it activate for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil, then knead until a soft dough forms.
- Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese, olives, bell peppers, oregano, and basil.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into equal rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
- Brush tops with melted butter.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
- You can add mushrooms or jalapeños for extra flavor.
- Use whole wheat flour for a healthier option.
