Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it activate for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil, then knead until a soft dough forms.
  3. Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
  5. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese, olives, bell peppers, oregano, and basil.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into equal rolls.
  8. Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
  9. Brush tops with melted butter.
  10. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
