Description

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with 6 liners.
  2. In a bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Whisk in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin liners.
  8. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow muffins to cool slightly before serving.
