Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with 6 liners.
- In a bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Whisk in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Divide the batter evenly among the muffin liners.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow muffins to cool slightly before serving.
