Description

A fragrant and lightly floral jasmine syrup perfect for sweetening drinks, desserts, and teas. Simple to make with just a few ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 4 teaspoons jasmine tea (4 tea bags)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1½ cup water

Instructions

  1. Add the jasmine tea, sugar, and water to a small pot.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring until the sugar has fully dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool to room temperature.
  4. Discard the tea bags or strain out the tea leaves, then transfer the syrup to an airtight container.
  5. Store in the refrigerator or use as desired.

Notes

  • Use loose leaf jasmine tea for a stronger floral flavor.
  • Adjust sweetness by reducing or increasing sugar slightly.
