Description
Egg fast cloud bread, also known as oopsie rolls, is a light, fluffy, and low-carb bread alternative perfect for sandwiches or as a side. Made primarily from eggs and cream cheese, it’s ideal for ketogenic and low-carb diets.
Ingredients
- 3 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons cream cheese (or mascarpone cheese)
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- Optional: 1 packet powdered stevia (or other preferred low-carb sweetener)
- Optional: Seasonings like garlic powder or Italian herbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Separate the egg whites from the yolks into two mixing bowls.
- Add cream of tartar to the egg whites and beat until stiff peaks form.
- In the bowl with egg yolks, add cream cheese and optional sweetener; mix until smooth.
- Gently fold the yolk mixture into the beaten egg whites, being careful not to deflate the whites.
- Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, creating 6 even rounds.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and set.
- Allow to cool completely before removing from parchment paper.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Can be toasted or frozen for longer storage.
- Great for sandwiches, burgers, or as a side with butter.
