Description

These King’s Hawaiian Cinnamon Rolls are a sweet, soft, and fluffy indulgence made with King’s Hawaiian bread. The cinnamon sugar filling and rich glaze make them a perfect treat for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.

Ingredients

1 package of King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Bread Rolls

1/2 cup of brown sugar

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup powdered sugar

12 tablespoons milk (adjust for desired consistency)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish or a similar-sized pan.
  3. Slice the King’s Hawaiian rolls into halves or quarters, depending on your desired size.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together.
  5. Spread the softened butter evenly across the sliced bread.
  6. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the buttered bread, making sure each piece is well-coated.
  7. Arrange the cinnamon-coated bread pieces in the greased pan, stacking them neatly.
  8. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  9. While the rolls bake, prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Add more milk if needed to reach a drizzle consistency.
  10. Once the rolls are out of the oven, drizzle the glaze generously over the warm rolls.
  11. Serve and enjoy your homemade King’s Hawaiian Cinnamon Rolls!

Notes

  1. For a nutty twist, add chopped pecans or walnuts to the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  2. For a caramelized apple flavor, add thinly sliced apples to the rolls before baking.
  3. For a richer glaze, substitute the powdered sugar glaze with cream cheese frosting.
  4. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days at room temperature or up to 5 days in the fridge.
  5. To reheat, microwave for 15-20 seconds or bake at 350°F for about 5 minutes.
