Description

This lemon whipped Greek yogurt is light, creamy, and refreshingly tangy with a hint of sweetness from honey. It makes a quick and elegant breakfast, snack, or healthy dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Zest the lemon into the bowl of a stand mixer. Cut the lemon in half and juice one half into the bowl. Reserve the remaining half for another use.
  2. Add the Greek yogurt, honey, and heavy whipping cream to the mixer bowl.
  3. Using the whisk attachment, start mixing on low speed for 10 to 15 seconds to avoid splashing. Increase to medium-high speed and whisk for several minutes until the mixture becomes light and fluffy with soft peaks.
  4. Transfer to serving bowls and top with fresh berries if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest texture.
  • Fresh berries, granola, or toasted nuts make excellent toppings.
  • Chill before serving for an extra refreshing treat.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 1 day.
