Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced (about 2 cups)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the mangoes, then hull and slice the strawberries.
  2. Add the mangoes, strawberries, sugar, water, and lime juice (if using) to a blender or food processor.
  3. Blend until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or lime juice according to preference.
  5. Pour the mixture into a shallow freezer-safe dish and spread evenly.
  6. Cover and freeze for 4–6 hours, stirring every 1–2 hours to break up ice crystals for a smoother texture.
  7. Let the sorbet sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before scooping and serving.
