Description

These Maple Cinnamon Apple Chips are a healthy, crunchy snack made with just a few simple ingredients. Naturally sweetened and baked until crisp, they’re perfect for guilt-free snacking.

Ingredients

  • 3 apples (Honeycrisp or Fuji recommended)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Wash and core the apples, then slice them thinly (about 1/8 inch thick) using a sharp knife or mandoline.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the apple slices with maple syrup and cinnamon until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheets, making sure they don’t overlap.
  5. Bake for 1 hour, then flip each slice and bake for another 1 to 1.5 hours until crisp.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the chips cool completely to crisp up fully.
  7. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.

Notes

  • Use a mandoline for even slicing and consistent crispness.
  • Different apple varieties may yield slightly different textures and sweetness levels.
  • Let the chips cool completely before storing to avoid sogginess.
