Description

This Maple Cinnamon Latte is a warm and cozy homemade coffee drink made with maple syrup, cinnamon, and frothed milk — perfect for fall or any chilly morning.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or 12 shots of espresso
  • 3/4 cup milk (any kind)
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream, for topping (optional)
  • Extra cinnamon, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
  2. Whisk frequently until the mixture is hot and just beginning to simmer. Do not boil.
  3. Use a milk frother or whisk vigorously to create foam, if desired.
  4. Pour the hot coffee or espresso into a mug.
  5. Pour the maple cinnamon milk over the coffee, holding back the foam with a spoon.
  6. Top with foam, whipped cream, and a sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use any milk you prefer — dairy or plant-based options like oat or almond milk work great.
  • Adjust the amount of maple syrup to taste depending on your sweetness preference.
  • If you don’t have a frother, you can shake the warm milk in a jar or whisk it vigorously by hand.
