Ingredients
- 4 teaspoons grated lime zest
- 3/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup agave or maple syrup
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 2/3 cup coconut cream
Instructions
- Combine the lime zest, lime juice, orange juice, agave or maple syrup, salt, cottage cheese, and coconut cream in a blender.
- Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
- Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container and secure the lid.
- Freeze overnight or for at least 12 hours.
- When ready to serve, process the frozen mixture using the Ninja Creami “Sorbet” setting.
- Scoop into bowls, drizzle with agave syrup if desired, sprinkle with flaky salt, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Maple syrup can be used instead of agave for a deeper sweetness.
- For a stronger citrus flavor, add extra lime zest before serving.
- If the ice cream is crumbly after spinning, respin once for a creamier texture.
- Store leftovers in the freezer and respin before serving for best texture.
