Description

Marry Me Shrimp Pasta is a creamy, flavorful pasta dish featuring juicy shrimp in a rich sun-dried tomato cream sauce. It’s an easy yet elegant meal that’s perfect for date night or any special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or your choice)
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sun-dried tomatoes. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Add red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, and heavy cream. Stir and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce thickens.
  7. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  8. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use half and half instead of heavy cream for a lighter version.
  • Adjust spice level by increasing or omitting red pepper flakes.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies.
