Description

Soft and chewy Matcha Latte Cookies that combine the earthy flavor of matcha green tea with white chocolate chips and a hint of vanilla, perfect for matcha lovers.


Ingredients

  • 113g unsalted butter (softened)
  • 150g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 150g all-purpose flour
  • 10g matcha powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 100g white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, then mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop out portions of the dough and place them on the prepared baking tray, spacing them apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
  9. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
