Ingredients
- 113g unsalted butter (softened)
- 150g brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 150g all-purpose flour
- 10g matcha powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 100g white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, then mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Scoop out portions of the dough and place them on the prepared baking tray, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
