Ingredients
- 160g unsalted butter (softened)
- 130g powdered sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 20g milk
- 130g cake flour
- 4g baking powder
- 10g matcha powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F) and line a pound cake loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the milk and mix until fully combined.
- Sift together the cake flour, baking powder, and matcha powder, then gently fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
