Ingredients
- 24 frozen mini meatballs
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 package Hawaiian rolls
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 F.
- Warm the frozen meatballs on a microwave-safe plate for 3 to 4 minutes or until heated through.
- Heat the marinara sauce in a skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and stir to coat them in the sauce.
- Melt the butter in a small bowl and stir in the Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating the individual rolls. Place the bottom half into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Place two meatballs on each roll. Spoon marinara sauce over the meatballs and sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sliders.
- Place the top half of the rolls over the meatballs and brush the tops with the seasoned butter mixture.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with foil and bake for 11 to 13 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the tops are lightly golden.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
- Use turkey or chicken meatballs for a lighter option.
- Swap mozzarella with provolone, cheddar, or pepper jack cheese for different flavors.
- Add pepperoni, sautéed peppers, or onions for extra toppings.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in the oven at 350 F or microwave individual sliders for 30 to 45 seconds.
- These sliders can be assembled ahead and refrigerated before baking.
- Freeze baked sliders in an airtight container for up to 2 months.
