Monster Oreo Balls are a fun and spooky no-bake Halloween treat made with crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and colorful candy melts. Decorated with candy eyeballs, they’re perfect for parties and kids!
Ingredients
- 36 Oreo cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 ½ cups green candy melts
- 1 ½ cups purple candy melts
- 1 ½ cups blue candy melts
- Candy eyeballs (variety of sizes)
- Sprinkles (optional)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for thinning candy melts)
Instructions
- Place Oreos in a food processor and blend into fine crumbs.
- Add softened cream cheese and mix until fully combined and a dough forms.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Freeze the balls for 20–30 minutes until firm.
- Melt candy melts in separate bowls according to package instructions. Add coconut oil or shortening if needed for smooth dipping consistency.
- Dip each ball into melted candy, coating fully. Place back on parchment paper.
- Immediately decorate with candy eyeballs and sprinkles before coating hardens.
- Let set completely at room temperature or refrigerate to speed up the process.
Notes
- Use gel food coloring to customize candy melt colors if needed.
- Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
- Use a toothpick or fork to help with dipping the balls smoothly.
