Description

Monster Oreo Balls are a fun and spooky no-bake Halloween treat made with crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and colorful candy melts. Decorated with candy eyeballs, they’re perfect for parties and kids!

Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 ½ cups green candy melts
  • 1 ½ cups purple candy melts
  • 1 ½ cups blue candy melts
  • Candy eyeballs (variety of sizes)
  • Sprinkles (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for thinning candy melts)

Instructions

  1. Place Oreos in a food processor and blend into fine crumbs.
  2. Add softened cream cheese and mix until fully combined and a dough forms.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Freeze the balls for 20–30 minutes until firm.
  5. Melt candy melts in separate bowls according to package instructions. Add coconut oil or shortening if needed for smooth dipping consistency.
  6. Dip each ball into melted candy, coating fully. Place back on parchment paper.
  7. Immediately decorate with candy eyeballs and sprinkles before coating hardens.
  8. Let set completely at room temperature or refrigerate to speed up the process.

Notes

  • Use gel food coloring to customize candy melt colors if needed.
  • Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
  • Use a toothpick or fork to help with dipping the balls smoothly.
  • Try different Oreo flavors for variation.
