Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, cinnamon, cayenne (if using), black pepper, salt, and lemon juice.
- Place chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

- Marinate the chicken overnight for deeper flavor.
- You can substitute chicken thighs for breasts if preferred.
