Description

This glittery cheesecake is a show-stopping dessert that combines creamy, rich cheesecake with edible glitter and vibrant food coloring for a magical, galaxy-inspired look. Perfect for special occasions, parties, or whenever you want to impress.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Food coloring (blue, purple, pink, black)
  • Edible glitter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press mixture into the bottom of the pan to form the crust. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Mix in sour cream until well combined.
  5. Divide batter into separate bowls and add desired food coloring to each.
  6. Spoon colored batters into the crust alternately, swirling gently with a knife or skewer to create a marbled effect.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until center is almost set. Turn off oven and let cheesecake sit inside with door slightly open for 1 hour.
  8. Remove from oven and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Before serving, sprinkle edible glitter on top for a galaxy-like shimmer.

Notes

  • Use gel food coloring for more vibrant colors without altering the batter consistency.
  • Chill the cheesecake overnight for best texture and flavor.
  • Decorate with additional edible stars or shimmer dust for extra sparkle.
