Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cookie butter
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar (as needed for dough consistency)
- 24 chocolate kisses
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the cookie butter and unsalted butter together until smooth.
- Stir in the brown sugar and granulated sugar, mixing until fully dissolved and glossy.
- Remove from heat and add the vanilla extract and salt. Stir to combine.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then gradually mix in the powdered sugar until a thick, pliable dough forms.
- Scoop and roll the dough into 1-inch balls, placing them on a parchment-lined tray.
- Press a chocolate kiss into the center of each ball gently.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 30–60 minutes until firm.
- Serve chilled or let sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before enjoying.
