Description

Ingredients

  • 150 g digestive biscuits
  • 60 g melted unsalted butter
  • 250 g mascarpone cheese
  • 250 ml heavy cream (cold)
  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 tbsp chocolate hazelnut spread (e.g., Nutella)
  • 8 Ferrero Rocher chocolates (plus more for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp chopped hazelnuts (optional, for garnish)
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a ziplock bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix the biscuit crumbs with the melted butter until fully combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the base of serving glasses or a dish to form a crust layer. Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  5. In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  6. Add the chocolate hazelnut spread to the mascarpone mixture and mix until well combined.
  7. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone-chocolate mixture until fully incorporated.
  8. Roughly chop the Ferrero Rocher chocolates and fold them into the filling mixture.
  9. Spoon the filling over the chilled biscuit base, smoothing the tops with a spatula or spoon.
  10. Refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours or until set.
