Description
Watermelon Pie is a refreshing, no-bake summer dessert made with a graham cracker crust, whipped topping, and watermelon-flavored filling. It’s light, creamy, and perfect for hot days.
Ingredients
- 1 graham cracker pie crust
- 3 ounces watermelon-flavored gelatin (Jell-O)
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 8 ounces whipped topping (such as Cool Whip), thawed
- 2 cups diced seedless watermelon
- Optional: additional whipped topping and watermelon slices for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, dissolve the watermelon gelatin in boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved and let it cool to room temperature.
- Once the gelatin has cooled, gently fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
- Stir in the diced watermelon.
- Pour the mixture into the graham cracker pie crust and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Garnish with extra whipped topping and watermelon slices if desired before serving.
Notes
- Make sure the gelatin is completely cooled before adding the whipped topping to prevent melting.
- Use seedless watermelon to avoid unwanted crunch and texture.
- This pie is best served chilled and consumed within 2 days for optimal freshness.
