Description
A creamy, flavorful One Pot Chicken Alfredo Pasta that comes together quickly in a single pan. Tender chicken, pasta, and a rich Alfredo sauce make this an easy, comforting weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 500g (1 lb) chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 300g (10 oz) uncooked penne pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk (preferably full fat)
- 1 cup cream
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and just cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add uncooked pasta, chicken broth, milk, and cream. Stir and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring frequently, until pasta is just cooked and liquid has reduced into a creamy sauce.
- Return the chicken to the pan and add parmesan. Stir until melted and combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve garnished with parsley.
Notes
- Use full-fat dairy for the creamiest result.
- Stir frequently while cooking pasta to prevent sticking.
- Add extra milk if the sauce thickens too much.
- Good quality parmesan enhances flavor significantly.
