Description

A rich and comforting one-pot creamy tomato beef pasta made with ground beef, tomato sauce, and a silky cream finish. Perfect for a quick, satisfying weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 400 g canned crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup cream
  • 250 g uncooked pasta
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1 minute to deepen flavor.
  4. Add crushed tomatoes, beef broth, cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  5. Add uncooked pasta and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.
  6. Stir in grated parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.

  • You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey for a lighter option.
  • Add chili flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Use any short pasta like penne, fusilli, or macaroni.
