Ingredients
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or plant milk of choice)
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, add the almond milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, orange zest, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
- Whisk together over medium-low heat until warm and ingredients are well combined. Do not boil.
