Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped papaya
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 pinch turmeric powder (about 1/8 teaspoon)
- 2 teaspoons chia seeds
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup light coconut milk
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 1 scoop plant-based collagen powder
- 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
Instructions
- Add the papaya, frozen banana, turmeric powder, chia seeds, honey, coconut milk, protein powder, collagen powder, hemp seeds, and grated ginger to a high-speed blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, starting with 1/2 cup coconut milk and adding more as needed for desired consistency.
- For decorative white swirls, drizzle a little coconut milk around the inside of the serving glass before pouring in the smoothie.
- Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use maple syrup instead of honey to make the smoothie fully vegan.
- Frozen papaya can be used for an even thicker texture.
- Add ice cubes if you prefer a colder smoothie.
- Best enjoyed fresh immediately after blending.
