Description

This creamy papaya smoothie is packed with tropical flavor, protein, and nourishing seeds for a refreshing and energizing drink. Perfect for breakfast or a quick post-workout snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped papaya
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 pinch turmeric powder (about 1/8 teaspoon)
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup light coconut milk
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 scoop plant-based collagen powder
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

Instructions

  1. Add the papaya, frozen banana, turmeric powder, chia seeds, honey, coconut milk, protein powder, collagen powder, hemp seeds, and grated ginger to a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, starting with 1/2 cup coconut milk and adding more as needed for desired consistency.
  3. For decorative white swirls, drizzle a little coconut milk around the inside of the serving glass before pouring in the smoothie.
  4. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use maple syrup instead of honey to make the smoothie fully vegan.
  • Frozen papaya can be used for an even thicker texture.
  • Add ice cubes if you prefer a colder smoothie.
  • Best enjoyed fresh immediately after blending.
