Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Italian-style bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness if necessary.
  3. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
  4. In another shallow bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Dip each chicken breast in the egg mixture, then coat it in the Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken breasts for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer seared chicken to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
