Description

Parmesan Crusted Zucchini Sticks are a delicious and healthy appetizer or snack, featuring fresh zucchini coated in a seasoned Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture, then baked to crispy perfection.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium zucchini
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk (or beaten egg for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Cut the zucchini in half lengthwise and then into quarters to form sticks.
  3. In a shallow bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dip each zucchini stick into the milk (or beaten egg), then coat thoroughly with the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the coated sticks on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, turning once halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2–3 minutes.
  • Serve with marinara or ranch dipping sauce.
  • You can substitute egg for milk if preferred.
