Description

Soft and fluffy homemade peach cinnamon rolls filled with juicy peaches and warm cinnamon sugar, then topped with a creamy glaze for the perfect sweet breakfast or brunch treat.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup whole milk, warmed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened (for filling)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh peaches, finely chopped
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened (for glaze)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk (for glaze)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Add the warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Roll the dough into a 14×9-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  5. Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough.
  6. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle evenly over the butter.
  7. Distribute the chopped peaches evenly over the cinnamon sugar layer.
  8. Roll the dough tightly from the long side into a log. Slice into 12 equal rolls.
  9. Place rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover and let rise for 30-45 minutes until puffy.
  10. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm peaches to prevent excess moisture in the filling.
  • If using frozen peaches, thaw and drain well before adding.
  • Rolls can be prepared the night before and refrigerated for the second rise.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
