Description

Peanut Butter Apple Sandwiches with Granola are a fun, healthy, and kid-friendly snack made with crisp apple slices, creamy peanut butter, and crunchy granola. They’re quick to prepare and perfect for lunchboxes or an after-school treat.

Ingredients

  • 12 apples, sliced into rounds and cored
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup granola
  • Mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the apples into rounds about 1/4 inch thick. Remove the core from each slice.
  2. Spread peanut butter on one side of an apple slice.
  3. Sprinkle granola over the peanut butter.
  4. Add mini chocolate chips if using.
  5. Top with another apple slice to make a sandwich.
  6. Repeat with remaining apple slices and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Use any variety of apple you prefer, like Honeycrisp or Fuji for sweetness.
  • Almond butter or sunflower butter can be used as alternatives to peanut butter.
  • Add raisins, dried cranberries, or chopped nuts for extra texture and flavor.
  • Best served fresh to avoid browning of the apples.
