Description

Peanut butter balls are a delicious no-bake treat made with creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and chocolate. Perfect for any occasion, these bite-sized snacks are easy to make and incredibly satisfying.

Ingredients

1 cup creamy peanut butter

2 cups powdered sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and softened butter. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  2. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Freeze the peanut butter balls for about 30 minutes, or until firm.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with vegetable oil in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until fully melted and smooth.
  5. Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, covering it completely. Return the chocolate-covered balls to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Once all balls are coated, refrigerate them for about 20 minutes, or until the chocolate has hardened.
  7. Serve and enjoy your delicious peanut butter balls!

Notes

  1. You can swap milk chocolate for dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
  2. Use crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy for added texture.
  3. Add mini chocolate chips, chopped peanuts, or dried fruit for variations.
  4. Alternatively, roll the peanut butter balls in crushed nuts instead of dipping in chocolate.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
  6. Let the peanut butter balls sit out for 10-15 minutes before serving for room temperature enjoyment.
