Description
Peanut butter balls are a delicious no-bake treat made with creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and chocolate. Perfect for any occasion, these bite-sized snacks are easy to make and incredibly satisfying.
Ingredients
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and softened butter. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Freeze the peanut butter balls for about 30 minutes, or until firm.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with vegetable oil in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until fully melted and smooth.
- Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, covering it completely. Return the chocolate-covered balls to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Once all balls are coated, refrigerate them for about 20 minutes, or until the chocolate has hardened.
- Serve and enjoy your delicious peanut butter balls!
Notes
- You can swap milk chocolate for dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
- Use crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy for added texture.
- Add mini chocolate chips, chopped peanuts, or dried fruit for variations.
- Alternatively, roll the peanut butter balls in crushed nuts instead of dipping in chocolate.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
- Let the peanut butter balls sit out for 10-15 minutes before serving for room temperature enjoyment.
