Ingredients

  • 2 cups finely chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (for crust)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (for filling)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups whipped topping
  • 1 cup toasted pecans, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, and melted butter until evenly coated.
  3. Press mixture firmly into the bottom and slightly up the sides of a deep-dish pie pan.
  4. Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden and fragrant. Cool completely.
  5. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
  6. Mix in vanilla extract.
  7. Gently fold in whipped topping until light and fully incorporated.
  8. Fold in toasted pecans.
  9. Spread filling evenly into the cooled crust.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
  11. Slice while cold using a warm, dry knife for clean cuts and serve.
