Description

Rich, bite-sized treats packed with the flavors of pecan pie—perfect for the holidays or anytime you crave a sweet, nutty dessert!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, melted (for coating)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped pecans, crushed graham crackers, and brown sugar. Stir to mix evenly.
  2. Add melted butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until the mixture forms a sticky, moldable dough.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours, or until firm.
  5. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled pecan ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Place back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Let the coated balls set at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.
  8. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Notes

  • Use a cookie scoop for evenly sized balls.
  • You can toast the pecans beforehand for enhanced flavor.
  • Try drizzling white chocolate on top for a festive touch.
  • Keep refrigerated for best texture and shelf life.
