Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla for the brownie base.
  3. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until fully mixed.
  4. Spread the brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together corn syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla for the pecan pie topping.
  6. Stir in chopped pecans.
