Description

These pecan pie crescents are an easy, delicious twist on the classic pecan pie, using crescent roll dough filled with a sweet pecan mixture. Perfect for holidays or a quick dessert fix.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of pecan filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end to the point, and place on baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, lightly toast the pecans before using.
  • Drizzle with melted chocolate or glaze for a fancier finish.
  • Best served warm but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
