Description
Moist and tender banana loaf bread made with ripe bananas, perfect as a snack, breakfast, or dessert.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add melted butter to the bananas and mix well.
- Stir in sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture and stir.
- Add flour and gently fold until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor.
- You can add nuts or chocolate chips for variation.
- Allow the loaf to cool fully for cleaner slices.
