Description
A creamy, tropical delight layered with graham cracker crust, sweet pineapple, and fluffy Cool Whip—perfect for any gathering!
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for crust)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 (8-ounce) container Cool Whip, thawed
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix well, then press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form a crust.
- In a separate bowl, use an electric mixer to beat together the softened butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust in the baking dish.
- Evenly layer the drained crushed pineapple on top of the cream cheese mixture.
- Gently spread the Cool Whip over the pineapple layer, smoothing it out to cover completely.
- Refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- Cut into squares and serve chilled.
Notes
- Ensure the crushed pineapple is well-drained to prevent a soggy dessert.
- Chilling overnight can help the layers set better for cleaner slices.
- You can use light Cool Whip for a lower-calorie version.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
