Ingredients
- 1½ cups pineapple (fresh or frozen)
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup coconut milk (or any milk of choice)
- ¼ cup Greek yogurt or plant-based yogurt (optional)
- ½ to 1 cup ice cubes (if using fresh pineapple)
- 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 teaspoon lime juice (optional)
Instructions
- If using fresh pineapple, peel, core, and chop it into chunks.
- Add pineapple, banana, coconut milk, and yogurt (if using) into a blender.
- Add ice if you’re using fresh pineapple.
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and add honey or maple syrup if desired for sweetness.
- Add lime juice if you’d like a zesty twist.
- Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use frozen pineapple or banana for a thicker, colder smoothie.
- Add protein powder or nut butter to make it more filling.
- Skip sweeteners for a naturally sweet smoothie.
- Add spinach or kale for a green smoothie boost.
- Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
